Cindy Lamb
President
Accomplished Photographer & Published Author
Forever chasing knowledge, Lamb is an honors graduate of MGCCC with an AS & AA, magna cum laude BA graduate of Tulane University, and recipient of the prestigious Tulane 34 Award, and USM True South. She is currently a student with University of Oklahoma in the Economic Development Institute. She plans to pursue her master’s degree in Economic Development to enhance her position with EGH Architects.
In addition to the position at EGH she is an accomplished photographer, a published author, flips houses when she can find one, and her most prized and rewarding positions: mother, grandmother and great-grandmother!

Dr. Alireza Mansouri

Dr. Alireza Mansouri is a neurosurgeon with extensive post-graduate training in translational research and clinical trial design. Focusing on diffuse gliomas and brain metastases, his main research focuses on learning more about the changes in the brain environment around a tumor to improve how we diagnose tumors and predict responses to treatments. As the co-founder of WeTrials, he brings a depth of medical expertise and a passionate commitment to patient care.

Dr. Scott Glickman

Dr. Scott Glickman is a board-certified neurosurgeon with Las Vegas Neurosurgical Institute for Spine and Brain Surgery with subspecialty training in neurotrauma and neurocritical care, complex spinal disorders, and acute care neurosurgery. He has extensive experience with traumatic brain and spinal cord injury, spinal tumors, brain tumors, DBS, brain recovery, and neurovascular disorders. He is involved in ongoing clinical research.
Dr. Laurie Minns

Laurie Minns, PhD is an assistant professor of Clinical Research in the College of Health and Human Sciences at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She earned her PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College followed by postdoctoral training in clinical research at the Center for Translational Medicine at Dartmouth and GSK Vaccines. Dr. Minns has led pre-clinical through phase 2 clinical immune monitoring and bioassay development in academic and industry settings. She also heads a translational medicine group focused on improving health outcomes in caregivers of patients with primary brain tumors through a mixed methods research program. She has presented data from her team at international brain tumor conferences. She runs an interprofessional translational medicine research group that focuses on pre-clinical discovery and biomarker support for faculty in the school of nursing, chemistry, and marine biology.

Lisa Andersen-Desautels is a Certified Information Professional in the field of data management and information governance. Her Fiancé and business partner, Kirk King, played a critical role with the business and was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Grade 4 in April of 2018. He died 5 1/2 months later. It was her experience in trying to care for him in this process that sparked the King Project to help those caring for loved ones diagnosed with GBM.
